The Use of Sound/Toning in Connection with Intuitive Painting/Creative Writing. Transformations on The Road to Authentic Self . On Music in Healing/Therapies.
Many of the man’s sperma reach the walls of the female’s egg, but are not allowed in. Sooner or later “the right one” arrives, and is let in through the membrane of the cell, as if on a hidden signal. Some researchers say that both the cell of the egg and the sperm tones its own sound signal, its own frequency that literarily gives the cells the ability to communicate on its own particular wavelength. Even thougt “yours truly” has been given the experience through A Course in Miracles, to feel that the body is just “a wrapping”, “not even around the soul”, it is interesting that The French gene-researcher, Dr. J. Lejeune claimed that each egg and sperm includes all information about our lives the moment they melt together, and that it happens via communication between the two units via sound that may well be regarded as a form of language (see also A. Myskja, The Musical Medicine, Oslo, Norway, 2003).
It speaks of a superior intelligence in how the body was created, and it may satisfy those researchers and others who are bent on believing that biology is the answer to life’s question to know that music/tones/sound this way “explained” may also help them know that sound may be a healing agent on the road to Authentic Self. Near-death experiencers oftentimes speak of having experienced the Music of the Cosmos, that is being music (www.pmhatwater.com, www.iands.org), indicating that our very soul substance is tones/music. And if we go back to earlier times and other cultures, we will see that music and medicine were closely knit together. The god for medicinal arts and the god for music were one and the same in cultures as differing as the Indian and the Greek. Dr. A. Tomatis speaks of the difference between hearing and listening, that is, to listen inwards to the tones embodied and released from muscles while hearing. When scientists try to measure what music does to us, it is obvious that “the music in itself” is of a mystical and indefinable size if we try to catch it.
However, we can measure the effects that music have on us also on concrete bodily variables, much more accurately than what scientists previously thought, even though we can never catch the essence of music in research categories. On our way back to Authentic self, healing arts such as toning/sound/music, intuitive painting/creative writing may well be used to “unlock” and help healing of trauma or help opening up to expressiveness and communications, also via creative writing and help one experience expanded states of consciousness.
