This claim, which rests on the notion of psychomatter (as defined in my books – see below), entails that we are all deeply interconnected, because we share and are part of an overall 'psi' field, which is mostly unconscious (incidentally, it relates to the collective un.

The consequences thereof are far-reaching, and shed a new light on the human nature and the broad issue of health and well-being.

Most interestingly, this view from physics is in close accordance with the transpersonal approach.

 

About Emmanuel Ransford : philosopher-scientist specialised in quantum physics, he developed over the years an approach which tries to put forward a ‘science-friendly’ alternative to materialism. This approach, which leads to a ‘holistic’ and transpersonal view of selfhood, has been outlined in the book: SCIENCE AND THE PRIMACY OF CONSCIOUSNESS (The Noetic Press [USA], 2000; chapter 12) and, in French: LA NOUVELLE PHYSIQUE DE L’ESPRIT (2007, éd.
