The role of the body in the process of self-development
Rio Abierto system – School of being. When we see the man having three main aspects, as a reflection of the three fundamental qualities through which life express itself: the physical energetic, the affective, and the mental aspect (understanding and awareness). Human fulfillment is to recognize these three aspects within us and to creatively express them. To do this we need the body as a flexible and sensitive instrument to creatively reveal life and to find its profound sense.
Vincenzo Rossi, founder and director of the Rio Abierto- School of being, psychologist and transpersonal psychotherapist. Since almost thirty years he is been working with and teaching the Rio Abierto system that integrates bodily expression with psychological view of self-actualization.
