In these years I found out that clown costume helps people to feel safe with strangers, and clown are allowed to invade other people’s life. As a clown you arouse curiosity and give pleasure to the others either on a sidewalk or a hotel, in a hospital or a kindergarten, it is like becoming coloured ray of joy. Wherever I have been in these ears I noticed how a clown can give comfort, assuage grief, in places like hospitals, orphanages, kindergartens and prisons. I feel as I filled a necessity I had as a human being, I understood that the duty of the healing clown is not to create wonderful shows but to come closer to suffering and to devote himself to loving people and single individuals. I discovered s love and joy are welcome in the majority of human conditions, from the death-bed to the refugees camps and war sites like the ones I will present tonight. Everywhere n the world I noticed a desperate need for attention, justice, inner ad global peace. We all need to take care o the others, knowing that this helps to give sense to our life , and this can be fun as well. Tonight we will watch the movie “Clown in Kabul”, by Stefano Moser e Enzo Balestrieri, travel journal of the clowns smile ambassadors in a country in war: Afghanistan.
